Need help with a couple things please!?
My boyfriend and I are going to Vegas for the week of March 20-27th and we were wondering if some of you could give us some input on some decisions we're trying to make. First would be the place to stay, we were thinking Excalibur at first because it has the lowest rates we've seen with the most to do. We're definitely trying to see/do as much as possible while we are there. Some of my family is going too and they directed me to a site called i4vegas.com. The site seems pretty good as far as rates but we don't know if that's where we want to stay or even if we could find some better rates or even as good as rates on the strip. Next we were looking to find some rates for the cheapest flights from Omaha, Ne to Las Vegas. The site my sister gave us was Edreams.com and the rates on there are pretty good but we were wondering if anyone else had any better site that could offer us a better rate. I greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to help me.

Excalibur is a nice hotel...not the best, but nice for the money. In my opinion, the best way to get a great deal is to book them separately. For flights, check sites like Southwest airlines or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare from Omaha. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php For hotels, book directly from the hotels using their discount promo codes to get the maximum discounts. Here are a few codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.php Have fun

excaliber is a fine place to say.. you can take the monorail at the MGM across the street and easily get everywhere on the strip as for airfare, try allegiantair.com they are a locally based airline and only fly to small airports.. i don't think they fly to omaha, but they might fly somewhere close

Vegas.com is a good site to see what's going on here also. Try checking Hotels.com and orbitz.com for some packages that could include both flight and hotel versus trying to book them independently. Also try PriceLine.com, just to give you an idea. You can also see who flys from your airport to here and then check their websites for cheaper prices.

You can use this site to compare air and hotel prices. Do not book a package deal. http://www.sidestep.com/ Once you see the airline and hotels you are interested in .. go directly to the airline website and hotels' websites for better deals and more options. Remember site like orbitz and expedia have to make a profit and raise the prices to do so plus they add a service fee at the end when you are paying. They don't even tell you until then. The hotels do not have to pay commissions when you book on their own site so they save money and pass the saving on to you.
